In recent years, the presence of the digital has grown as a new tool for involving communities, strongly accelerated by the pandemic.
Museums, but in general any reality that expresses cultural content, has turned to the digital not only as a new tool for ‘access’ to culture, but also as a necessary element in building a new collective awareness, a new way to activate ‘users’ so that they are not only passive receptors, but new activators.
Therefore, the digital is becoming a tool not only for tourists, but for mixed communities (both local and temporary), precisely for creating new narratives, between the past and the present.
