Italian SMEs in tourism, overcoming frictions and the digital gap: services of the 4.0 era
The pandemic has accelerated the digitization processes of small and medium-sized enterprises directly or indirectly connected to tourism, and has accelerated the use of technologies that make the supply of products and services more effective, improving and diversifying the offer within an increasingly advanced and demanding market.
The digital business point of the Chambers of Commerce has been helping around 6,000 SMEs since 2017 to find the digital ecosystem that best suits their market needs as well as helping them to overcome fears related to change; it has conducted around 40,000 digital assessment surveys and has nearly 200,000 participants in its info-training courses.
In this session, curated by digital Punto Impresa, we will try to take stock of the digital status of MSMEs related to tourism, highlighting the best practices present on the national territory: good ideas that develop in step with technological innovation.
