Emma Taveri

Coordinatrice 'Destination', Comitato Scientifico BTO; Assessore al Turismo, Comune di Brindisi; CVO, Destination Makers

She is a passionate entrepreneur, an expert in destination marketing and social impact management with international experience with important travel brands (TripAdvisor, World Travel Market, TTG, ..).

She left her career in London to return to Italy and found Destination Makers, a boutique consulting company with a fully remote team since 2014, with which she designs routes for the enhancement and marketing of destinations shared with local communities, in line with the latest trends in the market.

Teacher and speaker at events of international importance, since 2017 she has been on the Scientific Committee of BTO and since 2019 she has been coordinating the theme "destination".

She is the creator of two initiatives now considered good practices of territorial marketing: Recharge in Nature, a marketing campaign for the post Vaia re-start that went viral with almost 20 thousand applications from all over the world for a stay of total disconnection in a refuge in the Dolomites, and Sea Working, an initiative launched during the pandemic to reposition Brindisi as a destination for nomad workers and for the relocation of businesses to the South and highlighted by the most important national media.

Nomadic for passion, during the pandemic she chose to return to Brindisi to ‘be change’ and to experiment in a laboratory city the approach of Destination Makers, a design with impact, co-creating with new travel companions a path of rebirth, towards the ideal city in which to work and live.
