A graduate from the University of Siena in Political Science with a thesis on the development of farm tourism in the Val d’Orcia area; a Masters in Economics and Tourism Management at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
She has always worked in the world of tourism with professional experience in various fields.
In the hotel sector: with her family she manages a hotel in Tuscany; in the public administration: she was councillor for tourism policies of the Municipality of Siena from 2013 to 2018; in trade associations: she was tourism manager for the provincial Confesercenti of Siena for fifteen years; as communicator and trainer: she has been tourism manager for ANCI Tuscany for two years; she has collaborated for some years with the Centro Studi Turistici of Florence.
She follows European projects on sustainable tourism and the development of destinations.
She is also very skilled in engaging, stimulating and leading industry discussion that is knowledgeable and informed.
Curious, optimistic, she loves good food and is a passionate traveller and marathoner.
