He has been a freelancer in marketing, planning and organization for industry, culture and services since 1985.
In the field of tourism, he has designed and implemented destination plans, economic research, resource inventories, participatory innovation paths, analysis of offers of digital eco-systems, online sentiment and reputation analysis, digital training courses and events for public administrators, entrepreneurs and managers in more than 10 Italian regions.
He has created over 20 economic models including bottom-up tourism (Liguria Region, 2011), Italic People (Ravenna Festival, 2015) and PLiSM (Region of Piemonte, 2016) published in research and academic papers.
For ENIT he created LRD Centenaries Matching Italic People (2019), the first research on Leonardo, Raphael and Dante and the impact on the international demand.
During the various lockdowns he conceived of and published the #dallapartedelturista survey on 50 European and Italian destinations (2020), Turismo & Talenti, the first survey on tourist human capital (2020), Turismo & Salubrità on 72 European and Italian cases of restarting, Turismo & Talenti Education, the first national survey on the offer of advanced training in tourism in Italy.
He teaches and holds seminars at Italian universities and at the Université Paris Nanterre (F).
