Alessandro Chelli, CEO and Co-Founder of Apio, with a degree in Computer Engineering from the Marche Polytechnic University, in 2014 founded Apio together with Lorenzo Di Berardino to offer Internet of Things solutions to companies. Apio today is a reference point for innovative technologies such as the Internet of Things and Blockchain and, thanks to digital skills, the Apio team collaborates with the largest national and international companies such as A2A, Acea, Enel and Indra.
Apio has been collaborating with VarGroup for two years on the topic of Blockchain and in partnership, they are creating vertical solutions for the major sectors of Made in Italy (Food and Fashion). In 2019 with the support of Apio, VarGroup was first accredited worldwide as a Trusted Partner of the IBM Food Trust solution.
