Monica Scannapieco is currently manager of the "Integrated Data and Process Architecture" service of the Central Directorate for Methodology and Design of Statistical Processes of Istat, where she deals with Big Data analysis, data integration based on semantic approaches, enterprise architecture.
She got a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering with honours and a PhD in Computer Engineering from SAPIENZA – University of Rome. She has coordinated and participated in several European and international projects on data quality, data integration, Open Data and Big Data.
She is the author of articles and scientific books on various topics regarding data management and data science.
